What have you to be fearful of ?

Unlike '01 we have no REAL hardliner in charge

Were not implementing MSS!

They are DESPERATE for crew and xmas/cny fast approaching

Lots of crew on maxed out hours , cancelling jokers etc

They have soooo much more to lose than us , asia miles , amex , countless codeshares corporate agreements etc

Theres absolutely no way there in a position to ring in the PLA airlines to save the day , how the hell is that going to happen , seriously?

Ohh your afraid there going to take your 13th month away ? What are you really scared of ?

What side do you really bat for?

This is not 13 yrs ago, times have a changed , wise up ladies and gents and wise up fast before you flush any chance of hope down the loo

Most of those '500' would recognize the 6 different models of the iPhone before they'd recognize the 6 different models of the jumbo.
They just don't care. They haven't dedicated decades of their life in pursuit of their dream. Most could walk away from the industry tomorrow if it's not working for them and their family. Just like the rest of us.

Shut down an airline employing 30,000 plus because a small group are working to their COS?? We're not going into MSS (Not yet anyway)

As for the best gig in town? It's relative not absolute. Remember all the Indians we were employing a few years ago by offering them more than they were getting at home? There's a reason you're not seeing them all around Cathay City. They realized they'd have a better standard of living staying where they were.

At the end of the day it's lifestyle. And Cathay/Hong Kong are not competitive any more.
