Snoop In search of flight captains

I'm writing a coffee-table book for the HKAA to commemorate its 15 years of operations at Chek Lap Kok. I am urgently seeking the two CX pilots who flew CX889 from New York, the first to land at Chek Lap Kok on July 6, 1998 and CX292 from Rome, which was scheduled to be the first, but came in three minutes later. I would like to hear any stories concerning this and the Polar One route. Many thanks

It is being funded by the Airport Authority to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its operations at Chek Lap Kok
