They have signed a MoU with a company in China, I imagine salaries will be on par with current expat salaries in China.

i heard that Netjets will work with DeerJet in China.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out, i think there will be a market for Globals/550's for the long range charter. Most mainline punters expect a stand up cabin.

Black charter is taking up to 30% of the charter market in China, more transparent over sight will help the likes of Netjets busines model succeed.

Black charter is also a problem in Hong Kong, that HKCAD needs to take care of before there is an incident. The guilty parties are operating in plain sight and even basing aircraft here, taking up valuable parking space that the certified AOC holders and HK reg aircraft need.

Three years ago, when I was a young pup, NJI was planning on starting up here straight away. The fact that some guy occasionally loans out his 550 to a friend can't be their undoing, can it?

The real reason NJI isn't working out here is that the guys who can buy an aircraft don't want to share it, and dislike the thought of owning a share of it. It's all or naught. Airline seat or MY airplane, nothing in between.

And you boys need to get over the "black ops kills" mindset thing. This has been going on everywhere in the world for all time. It's only a "problem" to fussy office boys who don't know which way the world turns. And you didn't really say that they are a cancer because they are taking up "valuable parking space", did you? There are plenty of spaces at HKIA, just not at the front door.

FrankR, plenty of parking spaces where? You are completely misinformed if you think that parking for biz-jets is not a problem at HKIA. So much so that they are now requesting that we reposition to Macao or China. The truth is, that black charter is a problem when the pax don't know that it is not a legal charter operation, and when it causes legal operators to incur huge costs to tow to remote bays and back, as well as reposition cost. Why not just get an AOC and pay your dues?

Back to the topic. Does anybody know times, dates, schedule, ect. Is it going to be working for Deerjet or the same management as Deerjet?

I would seriously doubt that it will be connected to Deerjet. Both parties are "strongly independent" in my opinion. It would be in the pilots interest to be separate from DJ influence.

Then again, you never know in this business.

Now now, lets not be racist and frown upon charters based on their colour...
