Ultimate Mobile Phone System

Has anyone figured out the ultimate, non-million-dollar but very good mobile phone and service plan that works everywhere we go, with a Blackberry or similar type of device with good email composition (QWERTY? Pearl?) keyboard?

Thanks!

Try this:
HTC - Touch Phone, PDA Phone, Smartphone, Mobile Computer

I have the previous model. Tytn II. Does the job. This new one has the new CPU and better ram.

I find my iPhone 3G does the job well. As far as work goes, one thing I don't like about it is that you cannot do SMS RTOW on it because for some strange reason Apple did not design it to be able to forward SMS's. But that is just me being picky.

Now why on earth would you want to get RTOW info on your personal phone?

CX makes enough money, let their system do the work.

I bet your work on G days too?

well I NEVER work a G day but I WOULD get an SMS RTOW if the normal channels failed.

WHY?

because it makes my job easier.

Ran into the same SMS RTOW issue in India last week. It took forever to send it.. Found application you can download for Iphone that does forwarding.. now oh so easy..

Why use my phone? I will send them the bill.. and it makes my life easy at 0300...

I would rather sit and have the flight delayed than to use any of my personal gadget on my pence for the benefit of Cathay Pacific.
