Latest update from upstairs...

I see the latest doom and gloom message from upstairs fails to mention the fine agreed to for the US case. It goes on and on about fuel prices ad nauseum. That 'interview' was a joke and concocted to simply avoid addressing many issues.

No doubt some expectation management to try and justify cutbacks and possibly even cancelling 13th month. For those who have done a bit of research, you'll find that this airline, barring any major world events, is in pretty good shape. Fuel surcharges are going up while fuel prices are going down. Hopefully there are no more fines due to management cock ups - for which I have seen no one held accountable for.

A closer look at the financials will reveal some of the usual accounting practices that have resulted in the published loss. The airline is doing quite well in the current climate thank you very much.....
