i think it's Cathay Pacific Aviation Knowledge.
on a side note i can't believe they have started overseas recruitment process but nothing in HK, particularly when i had just flew back from Australia earlier this year to HK for this -_-

Cathayfan, are you having stage 2 next week?
I used to think that stage 2 in October is only for local applicants...coz no stage 2 was arranged in September for local applicants...

CX Cadet Pilot Interview
I applied in Sept and got an initial interview on Oct 20th.. Must be recruiting in Australia as a priority at the moment.. I dont look that good on paper!

No I haven't done my Interview yet and they have gave me the Aviation Knowledge book??? Someone care to enlighten me??

Its called the Aviation Knowledge book. It just has basic knowledge on aviation.. Mainly for the cessna...

It's sounds weird that they give you the booklet at this time

Not sure whether things work the same for local & foreign applicants, local ones get the booklet via email after they are notified for attending stage 2 interview.

well they used to send it to you after you pass stage one, guess things have changed since then.
and my version (received approx 1 year ago) of it has nothing to do with cessna, just some very very basic aviation stuff, i guess what they hope is you read it and building your knowledge from it with your own research before going to the next stage.
