CX Second Interviews?

Wondering if anyone has heard when 2nd interviews for NA DEFO's will pick up again. Seems awfully quite.....bad omen? Calm before the storm???? Business as usual? BTW If you have changed jobs since your 1st interview, should you update? Gracias! Da Clipper

No plan for interview in N. America this year until they finish calling people who are waitting in the pool. Maybe they will start again sometime next year.

Does any one have a reasonable guess as to how many people are waiting for North America class dates?

About 37 so it will be a while as they are only taking 1 or 2 per class.

Not good they keep pushing classes back. They will not interview until all they guys/gals that are waitting in hold pool are called, that will not happen until sometime next year.Maybe they will interview again in June or july of 2009.

DESO

Sorry lads bit of a side track
Got the letter of intent to employ (DESO) and was wondering how many other people there may be waiting for start dates as well?

Hopefully it starts moving soon

They may not even be able to empty the current DEFO pool for NA in 2009.

I am suprised to hear about the large pool of waiting new hires. If that is so, then why are they even interviewing me (2nd in HK) in September?

Heard a rumour that the hiring experience requirements for NA DEFO are getting re-evaluated due to the current negative performance trend in training and FDAPs. Maybe CX is just waiting for fall when the major US airlines starting to furlough and a bigger selection of experienced candidates is available.

Interview results

Hi,
does anyone know how long it takes for CX to notify the applicants of whether they passed the second interview or not (DESO)? Two of my friends were denied, and this they heard about a week after the HK interview. Curious if 1 weeks is standard for a YES or a NO. I have something else I need to turn down if I get the CX job, and am not sure how long I can string the other company along. Thanks for the help.

last year in June it was about 2 weeks from 2nd interview to "we are pleased to advise you that your application was successful". Wait a week and then call. Good luck.
