The Letter
Just received the letter saying that I did not make it into Cathay. Does anyone know how long it takes until they might phone you again for possible second interview in Hong Kong? I heard something in the line of minimum 12 months???

I have been waiting 21 years!! ( I have a letter saying I did not make it, but they may contact me in the future if I kept them updated {which I did for about 3 years}.....but good luck !!!

It all depends why you did not make it - which you will never know. However CX is still short on crew and hiring continues.
There have been cases of guys getting a second chance in as little as six months recently. These were mainly direct Entry FO ( pax and freight ) in USA were a lot of hiring is going on. If you are applying from elsewhere or for SO it might take a year it might never happen.
Just update regularly.

The letter
I received the letter 3 or 4 days ago... I was applying for a defo position in Europe. IŽll keep my cv updated and lets see what happens in the future.
