On jet-jobs.com website it says that CX cancelled their showing for the May 31st job fair, anyone hear why?

Probably b/c now that most of the US majors are stagnant with their hiring/possibly furloughing, they have an increased number in applicants and dont need to go......or not.

CX just canceled the June/July initial interviews as well.

Any word why?

if I had to guess I'd say that the price of oil is killing them like it is every other airline.

Maybe it's the 100+ or so ex-Oasis guys getting all the preferential interviews at this time?

I could be wrong, but those guys will be HKG base not N.America, again I could be wrong.

My buddy just got the email saying that his final interview in HKG for July is cancelled. Said something about they have too many guys in the 'pool' awaiting course dates for NA.

for now. I haven't heard anything as of yet, but hearing all of you guys having your class cancelled like that worries me a little bit, it's also made me double my effort on studying. Don't get me wrong on that I've been studying my butt off, but this sounds like they maybe a little pickier than normal

Guys who've had your 2nd interview's cancelled what kind of experiance do you have if you don't mind??
