UK ATIS phone

Any UK airports have ATIS via phone? Where can I find the list?

Quite a few of them

Details will be included in the UK AIP, found at http://www.ais.org.uk

YOu may have picked 3 which don't have them. Search won't necessarily work - EGNX has one which is included in the AIP pages.

I didn't think there was an ATIS at all at EGKR... Doesn't say anything about it in the AIP - only mentions the tower and the NDB (which, of course, has been u/s for as long as I can remember!)

(Edited to say: he who looks in the NOTAMs finds the answers - it seems this is a trial. Must ask the tower about this later when I'm there)

Paul.

09063800400 - if you don't know the code for the airport you are looking for it will give you a list of prompts to follow. Gives you current METAR, TAF and 18 hr TAF if available.

I think we were being asked for the numbers of the ATIS not the Dial Met service
I use a number of Atis services over the phone - very useful service

Carlisle - 01228 574123
Blackpool - 01253 343434 ( then you have to choose an option - I think its 4)
Manchester - 0161 499 2324

Hope that helps
Anyone else got any numbers

... and RAF Benson 01491-837766, x7524 (otherwise only available on UHF so we use the phone pre-flight mostly!)
