Cool Rotorheads Views From The Cockpit

We see lots of pictures of you pro guys with your machines flying, dumping stuff and lifting things, any chance of seeing a few shots of the views you actually look at, re the instrument panels - and beyond?

John Eacott's first picture shows reg'n VH-VIS on the panel - this is a 2003 built A109E Power

Dave_smith99 - your photo is the "Handy Cross" junction of the M40 by High Wycombe, so you were climbing through 600' east-bound out of Booker/EGTB

Helieng,

PPheli has the helicopter, but the moving map should help with the location

Hopefully not hogging this thread, but I just landed from filming for an American commercial shoot. I was flying from the left, so the safety pilot took a few photos. Shame he had the shakes

Mr Selfish asked:
How do I post some photos?
First of all, the picture needs to be already on a website, because the pictures here are not on the PPrune server but are all linked to other sites.

to make the picture viewable here, you put at the end. hopefully you should then see:

If you see a picture that you'd like to link to, right click on it, go to properties and that will show you the address.

If you have some pictures of your own that you'd like to get on the web, then try a site like Photobucket

Well done you great set of guy's, when I can fathom out this book of words on posting a pic I will send one, till then , thanks a lot what interesting pictures you have all sent, trouble is I am green with envy at the Kit and locations of some of these pictures,

To me and no doubt other PPL(H)'s they are every bit as interesting as looking at the Helis in working flight,

Please keep posting em

can anyone guess the location in the UK?

Hi Dave,

If I'm not mistaken it is High Wycombe / M40. I attended the school in the top RHS - a long time ago.

I could tell you some stories but they are not really appropriate for a public forum ;-)

407 Driver, I see you've been careless with the seatbelt.

John E, the tanker pic looks familiar. That could easily be the GOM.

Gomer,

The GoM photo : someone's photo that I hosted: not mine, I hasten to add!

Funny about the seat belt rash, amazing how prevalent it is on Bell's

Upon looking again at the posted cockpit views, the one posted by "Aesir" would to me seem to be the most inhospitable place to have to have a problem, in fact it is an amazing picture of natural desolation.
