Question Cathay & Color Vision

Hi there, just wondering if anybody knows what Cathay Pacific's regulations are for medical standard?

I have a slight color vision problem but have completed further testing with CASA in Australia and now hold are class one medical, but I can never seem to pass the isihara plate tests.

Does anybody know if this will be a problem in the 2nd stage for the medical?

Regard's

Hi there

If you can't read the plates, the medical examiner will take you to a dark room for the alternative lantern tests. You will need to distinguish the colours of lights coming from a pin hole. The first few are easy but then the later ones become smaller and dimmer.

Good luck

cheers
