Yes I have seen quite a few Chief Pilot ads. in 'Flight' for NEA too over the years. Roughly every 2 years or so.

Latest information (1-9-03) suggests a Mr James Marshall has been appointed the new CP at Northern Executive. Rumour has it he is currently employed in Holland. Lets hope he brings lots of drugs with him, he may need them ;)

Heard from a scandanavian source that the last CP may have been a little too enthusiastic with his logbook entries....... I think Mr Plod and his collegues might also be wanting a word in his "shell Like"....... the shiny head should not be too difficult to spot... at least if he is not flying his F16...or was it his Harrier.

Having lost the Global Express contract which amounted to nearly 50% of the hangarage, and the MYT Falcon 900 up for sale, it doesn't leave much, apart from two old LJ35s which few punters want to ride in these days.

With two new MAN handling companies on site, income is further diluted.

Many years ago in corporate flying I used to ponder how
awful the politics and in-fighting was. The only ones that
got on were the brown nosing gutless types. After a
couple of decades away from Biz-jets I kept a somewhat
romantic memory of my time on corporate ops.
Now I read about the awful little man in some outfit who
lies, cheats and screws everyone. GA at all levels is sad,
because pilots are equally qualfied/licenced, so back
stabbing remains the only method of advancement or
a bit of creative bookkeeping in the old logbook.
Most civilised organisations adopt some sort of seniority
system to stop the very evil crap that has been described
on this thread. Nothing changes, except the faces involved
