Russian biz jets [Archive]

Hi there,

I'm wondering if anybody know anything about Russian Biz Jets. When I've been lasttime in Moscow I seen I lot of western biz jets standing there. I just wandering who fly them : Russian or western pilots. Would be quite chalanging to try Russia for a while.

Hi there,

I've been flying a Gulfstream in Russia for a few month, sadly the contract is coming to an end...
Almost all western-built bizjet in Russia are flown by western pilots, because they are western registered, because registering them in Russia is extremely expensive. On guy did it and paid up the 9 million dollars to register his G4 in Russia, and has had nothing but trouble since with the Russian CAA...

Life in Moscow is interesting, if very expensive, and the customers are generally nice guys...

and the women... aaaah!
