I have been told that Kingdom Establishment has acquired a KAL 747-400.
Is it an addition to their fllet or a replacement?
Interesting anyway...

I don't know about it but I'll ask around. Certainly sounds interesting. I wonder if they need drivers?

It is now confirmed that a Boeing 747-400, not a -200 as I first wrote, will join the 767 and the 340.

I was surprised to hear that it was a -200.......... doesnt suit the style... but there again I'm also surprised to hear that its a 2nd hand machine..... I would have thought that with Boeing discounts it would have come directly from Seattle as a -400........
As for drivers, considering that it will take a couple of years to configure it into a VIP machine, I wouldnt keep my fingers crossed... it will probably go to his A340 drivers............
It also appears that he has made his uncle jealous, as he has now decided to install "GLASS" in all of his classic fleet.........

Seen in Flight International: Kingdom is looking for a Head of Maintenance.
Mutt, UAE has acquired an ex-United 747-400. May be the best deals are with the airlines at the time!
