Hi guys,
Could somebody give me infos about the QR package for a Direct entry Captain .
Salaries, medical, housing allowance etc...
Is it depending of aircraft type or not.
Do you work hard?

I thought this was an interesting topic. Many guys (among myself) are interested in joining QR but we don't know the conditions.

Director of Operations & CEO very nice! they have their own way of management a bit different from what I experienced but nothing bad or unusual. Excellent career opportunity.

The QR site however doen't mention anything about conditions such as salaries and the rest.

jafar...I suggest you read old forums re conditions and personalities at QR. As for the previous comment I suggest it was probably management. I work elsewhere in the Gulf and my friends that do work there say that the picture is not brilliant. However, if you are unemployed it is better than nothing.

One thing I will say though is that Doha has improved greatly and should be a reasonably good place to live. Previously it was a little sleepy place but it is developing quite nicely. Pity the airline has not developed as nicely though.

but just to give you an "Idea" expect to spend about $ 25 to 30% of your salary in housing if you are looking for a cool the sac atmosphere. I recommend you go alone for a while and then decide weather you want your family to join you??

jet4hire... Only QR28000 less 25-30% for accom', no accom' allowance? That would make the salary the lowest ion the Gulf by far?
I aggree the place looks good of late, much better than 12 years ago but QR?????
