Hi Guys,

I'm an aussie who aspires to join the world of corporate flying. Unfortunately in Australia the bizjet / corporate industry is very small and there is little movement. Whilst I have a few contacts I am going no where.

If anyone could offer any advice or suggestions on where to go to find work (Australia or any other country) and qualifications that may help I would greatly appreciate it. I am currently just a few theory exams away from an Australian ATPL and willing to go any where and do almost anything for a break.

Thanks in advance,
VneII.

English joke......I have spent a few days with a NZ pilot who stared in the airlines, then took his 737 experience into a BBJ job in the middle east. He was in the same position.
Australia is a better area to start from, and again it is difficult, but perhaps get a PPL. Then instruct, then apply for a night freight, then commuter, then you will have the hours and experience, then you need a big box of LUCK.

Actually nothing has changed over the years.

I was lucky daddy owned an airline!!!!!! Still not easy, before I could be Chairman I had to clean the toilets.......In other words, it does not matter what you do you need experience, and lots of it....Good luck.

YOURE RIGHT ABOUT IT BEING A HARD INDUSTRY TO BREAK INTO.FLYING A SMALL JET IS WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO RIGHT FROM THE START.

IVE JUST RECENTLY STARTED FLYING A SMALL JET FREIGHTER IN AUSTRALIA AFTER MANY YEARS(ABOUT 9 YEARS) OF CHARTER AND FREIGHT WORK IN PISTON TWINS AND SMALL TURBO PROPS.

MY ADVICE TOO YOU WOULD BE FIND THE COMPANIES IN AUSTRALIA THAT HAVE TURBO PROP FREIGHTERS AND JETS,CONSTANTLY KEEP YOURSELF UP DATED WITH THESE COMPANIES.IF YOU ARE REALLY KEEN , HIGHLY MOTVATED,PATIENT AND PREPARED TO START AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LADDER ,YOU WILL GET A JOB. :ok:
