Just a post to warn all who fly non UK REG aircraft on your UK licence, or US CPL based on your UK licence.

Guernsey and Jersey have their own ANO and will not allow anyone to fly in their airspace who is not " correctly licenced", as CI airspace is International airspace and definatley NOT uk airsapce.
Web site www.lcd.gov.uk/constitution/crown/govguide.htm refers.

Please don`t shoot the messanger just passing this on ............!

Guernsey and Jersey are seperate territories and each has it own Air Navigation Order. The Orders are based on the UK ANO with appropriate amendments. I had a feeling the provisions on the acceptance of licences were the same as in the UK ANO but I will check if I get time.

The airspace above the islands is not international airspace, it is Guernsey/Jersey airspace. However, a flight from the UK to the channel islands would take you through international airspace.
