Is the website is new? it wasnt there around June when I checked, great to see it, disappointing that they're still using their old title "Syrian Air" considering it does not exist anymore, the official abbreviation now is "Syrian Airlines", the official full name remains 'Syrian Arab Airlines''.

I saw thei Cabin crew at Karachi, quite a disappointmet, one girl lookied like shewas 15 the other was a woman in her 40s, the male crew were no less all were fat/chubby some were a bit young to be cabin crew, this from a country that is known to have some of the most good looking women AND men in the world.

JET Are things so bad in Canadian Aviation circles that even SYRIA of all places is now a consideration for a job???? You will be asking about Iran or North Korea next!!

Are there any Canadian Pilots left in Canada????

What has happened to all the passengers that once kept you all employed?? Where have they gone??

Perhaps Canada is a country like Australia and New Zealand that churns out far more Pilots than they can absorb within?

One destination less for their 747SP is Karachi (Pakistan) which is now served with a 727, where do they fly the 747s to? and when are they due to be replaced? with what type? A330-200 seems most suited or will they go for the A340-200 or smaller aircraft like A300-600?

i see the 747sp at heathrow sometimes ,

and i do agree with u newscaster . the a332 suites them the best ,

i hear back in 2000 that MEA and syrian were discusing merging , any truth to that ?

Mergeing Syrian with MEA would be a good idea, they could be a consortium airline like Gulf Air and SAS, perhaps even Royal Jordanian could join them, it will be most beneficial to Syrian fleet and routes etc. wise.
