The new Qatar Airways Marketing Manager has been fired, I am told ... and he's only been there six weeks!
Now, for any organisation to fire a manager after only six weeks probably means that there is something seriously wrong with their hiring process. If he was so bad that it became necessary to dispense with his services after such a short time why was the problem not identified at the time of the interview?
The whole hiring process at QR is chaotic anyway so it probably should come as no surprise. I understand that AAB didn't like him ... maybe he should conduct all interviews himself so those he doesn't like are not offered jobs ... problem is the airline would end up with no staff!!
And there was silly me thinking things had gone quiet at QR. Gets more like Fawlty Towers every day.
