Hi, looking for some guidance on the above. Do EK operate to class one limits, or are they more strict due to the fact that private health care is on offer. Any info on things like hearing, eyesight, dental etc greatly appreciated. :D

The UAE has a standard Class 1,2 + 3 medical issuance similar to the UK CAA. The pilots hold the UAE Class 1 mediacal. The Emirates doctors are quallified to conduct and issue CAA/JAA Class 1 medical renewals, so expect the medical to be along the same standards as it is for the JAA.
