I understand that a Hawker 800 was involved in an incident a few days ago at Northolt, they apparently struck the wing and flaps on touch-down. Has anyone heard more on this?
I did hear that the crews flew the plane back to Farnborough without saying a word and were met by the AAIB!

Not heard that one. Was it checked by an engineer before it flew again? If not, then that's foolish.

The incident is true, and the aircraft was positioned to Farnborough. I think it actually happened about 2 weeks ago. I don't have any details so we'll have to wait for the AAIB report

I heard they flew back to Farnborough afer they had damaged the plane, this is completely illegal isn't it? was the reg G-RCEJ operated by Aravco?

Wouldn't say it's "illegal" cos I don't know the full story, but I'd be very surprised if the aircraft was flown without being at least looked at by an engineer - which I think is probably the bit from the story that's missing.
Two possibilities either they sent their own engineers up to look at it or they borrowed on of the, is it Serco?, people who look after Betty's Flying Club at Northolt, they do after all have a bit of experience on 700/800's!
I can't imagine it wasn't checked before it flew though. There might have been some misunderstanding with AAIB I suppose, but I'm sure the incidents bulletin will solve all of our questions!
Still haven't heard anything, so don't know who it was...
