Zobbi,

Back to the original question, I have known it to take up to 18 months for Emirates to call for an interview, depending on the position applied for. You are now approaching that period of time.

I assume that you have double checked with Dubai that they have actually received your application, and that it hasn't been lost in the system somewhere. Reason for asking is that EK have just gone through a fairly extensive flightdeck recruitment exercise, and I would have though that you may have heard "something" by now.

Back now to Wan Chai.......ah, the memories. I'd go back in a minute if I could.

(I don't suppose that you were the two pilots who were always dancing on top of the bar in "Carnegies" with all the women, were you? And spilling drink on the heads of people below!! Ha ha.)

May I ask, why do you want to give all that up to come here to the sandpit?

ZOBBI, dancing on the bar at Carnegies, I dont think so, you'd need a crane to get him up there!!!!!!!

He's more likely to be found in Neptunes chatting up the maids on a Sunday afternoon.

Anyway ZOBBI best of luck with EK, I'll be seeing you for a beer real shortly.

PS Dont expose me by name, I use the same name on that "OTHER" forum

See you later, Im off for some "Thai"

zobbi, your name is realy a sexi arabic name, you will find a lot of problems joining EK with this name, try to change to an australian, british, or newzeland name to make your self more appealing to EK.......

Zobbi...

Greetings from HKG my friend. I am disapointed my introductions to the "movers n shakers" at EK didn't seem to help. Drop me an email, and I'll see if a follow-up will do the trick.
