If you think they are out of business why the querry???
Flexjet Ops ceased to exist at end of April:mad: but Flexjet Europe still operates from London as a Charter/Broker.

It was nice while it lasted. Almost too good to be true, well, it WAS too good to be true.
Flexjet isn't closed though. In the US they still operate 100+ aircraft, in other parts of the world they are starting up (I've heard) but in Europe, they outsourced the operation of aircraft to selected charter operators. And that just as things were starting to come along quite well.
All that work for nothing, and all those money for nothing. What a pity.
Anyway, what did you want to know for, they are not recruiting for sure !

Cr*p - compared to what ? It was cr*p that it ended, it was really nice being there. You can say any company is cr*p if you are spoilt enough. If half the posts about Netjets are true, it sounds like we were treated a lot better.
I will not put blame to either management or pilots, many people across the company made a great effort to make it work, some might have done less effort or even the contrary. One thing that bothered me in particular was that we were often told just to do as we were told and "not argue". We should not take away the responsibility of leadership from management/operations, but being there on the scene, often you can see things that a manager or operations cannot see from the office. Towards the end, many a pilot put on the blinkers and just did exactly what they were told, regardless of the situation being less than optimal. Sad. I don't think this is the cause of the closure, just something that bothered me. Who wants to do a less than optimal performance, especially in this trade ?

It was crap because......
The contract said overtime would be paid for anything over 18 days worked per month....thirty three days away from home didn't apply 'because you are training'!
The contract said six on four off but when a course such as CRM was needed it was always rostered in our four off 'so that the flying programme isn't affected'.
The first three days at our conversion course in Tucson we spent trying to decide what checklist we were expected to use! The next three were spent arguing with the ground instructor that rejecting after V1 for a engine fire is not actually recommended, even by his own company!
The first training flight I did in the aircraft the trainer didn't bother with a checklist!
There were effectively no SOP's in a Lear 60 operation!
With 35 hrs on type, first time as capt. with my mate who had around 60 hrs as FO, we were told to go to Sion in Switzerland at short notice with no briefings at all. Slot problems avoided me having to refuse.
Flight time rules were ignored as required, as much due to ignorance as anything else.(Danish JAR AOC)
Flight safety concerns expressed to management were ignored and denied, and it was not only me who expressed them.
If you consider the above complaints as simply a result of being 'spoilt' then I suggest that you stay well away from any professional aviation companies.

OK, flanker, I guess I have been luckier than you then. I am not saying it was perfect, but in my opinion better than most places. Depends on whether you compare it to average GA or the larger airlines.

 Why all this emotion now!!!!??:( The fact of the matter is that it no longer exists-nothing can be done about it now--all you can do is take something away from it and learn and try not let it happen to you again.Yes we all thought there was job security in it and yes we were all pi***d off at the fact it closed or some other aspect but if youv'e got gripes don't sit and moan about try and do something productive about it!!!!!

Did the unfortunate people get jobs, after Flexjet pulled the plug?

Most did, yes. Real shame it went down. A lot of the above gripes were true but things were shaping up slowly but surely. Money was good, schedule was generally adhered to, most drivers were experienced and professional and tried hard to make it happen until the fit hit the shan. Most of the lads were amazed the head honchos pulled the plug when they did - surely when aviation is at the bottom of the usual cycle it can only come back up? - undoubtedly much to the delight of the mob in Lisbon... but then if I was bright enough to know those answers I would be sitting in the back of me own Lear, now wouldn't I?:D
