Hi!

www.dgcam.com.om

I haven't had a good look at it, but at least you should be able to find a person who can give you an answer.
Converting a JAA license is no problem if you get a job in Oman, but I have no idea what procedures they have if you "just" want to convert. As in if you are an Omani with a foreign license.

Good luck!

Having the same intention I contacted with DGCAM and received following information that can be useful for you:

We will
accept any licence issued by an ICAO signatory state, and will issue an
Omani pilot licence with the same privileges and ratings as the original.
However, it is the policy of the Civil Aviation Authority here to only
issue
our licences to pilots employed with an Omani operator.

If you still have any question I think you can contact to Captain Robert Freeman, DGCAM Flight Safety Advisor,
his e-mail is [email protected]

Wish you all the best
