AMD 1.2 gig CPU,Win 98 second edition, IE6, Matsonic mother board, 384 meg ram.
Stalls frequently when browsing refresh will unstick it most times.have checked each ram stick,new modem etc.
Any ideas here?:(

I've had the same problem for months now. Computer just hangs (usually when browsing, but that's what I do most) and has to be restarted. I have tried changing RAM, but have a feeling that it's a cpu or graphics card thing. Any help would be much appreciated. (Athlon 1Gig, tnt2 32Mb, 512Mb when all installed!, XP Pro)

Have you updated all the drivers?
Find out what Graphics card/modem/soundcard you have - find the manufacturer websites and download the latest drivers - may solve your problem.

Well its probably a whole lot of mumbo jumbo but I've cured me problem by downloading the free opera browser.As long as I use the Opera browser no problems if I try to use IE6...graunch! ! :confused:
