I get the following error message when I try to use this facility:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /home/httpd/html/www/forums/newreply.php(45) : eval()'d code on line 1
I'm running Windows ME and IE 6.0.
Any bright ideas?

Looks OK here ...... XP and Opera (emulating IE5)
Any gurus out there with advice ??

I get it too (IE4 - don't laugh, it suits me fine)
OK when using the quote button on the reply page though, only happens trying to quote from in the thread. Tried JavaScript both off an on - no difference.

You're using the UltimateBB board software aren't you?
If Danny or anyone's modified the code then they'll probably know but here is eval() from the PHP manual.
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.eval.php
There are a couple of hints about the above error message there.....

It's something I must look at and fix - however I'm just about to disappear for 10 days and won't have internet access.
So for the moment, just live with it!

Works OK here - W98 and IE6

using IE6.0
Is it just me or a more general problem?

You might want to update your Microsoft Virtual Machine (i.e. Java).
Click here to be taken to the Microsoft VM Site (http://www.microsoft.com/java/vm/dl_vm40.htm)

You should get that message and then the reply page should show up. I tis because I have not implemented the 'Quote' function as too many people use it when replying to a long post and all you get is a repeat of the original post in bold before you add you two cents worth. I just haven't gotten around to editing the code to remove the button.
Ref. Ultimate Bulletin Board... we left that about 4 months ago and have been using vBulletin since then. UBB couldn't take the pace.
