hi
I have a professional canadian seaplane licence that I am trying to put on my JAR/CAA commercial. I have been told I need to write the UK seamanship exam. However the details are very vague even from the CAA.
Anyone know where I can get the syllabus, or know anyone who does a brief course on the subject or has anyone done it?

:D

Not sure exactly which course you need to do, but have a look at Lowestoft College - http://www.lowestoftcollege.co.uk/

They have a training centre for all things to do with the sea (I've done the personal survival course and it their facilities are very realistic!).

They will most certainly know which course you have to complete.

Hope this helps.

Why not contact George Cormack at Cormack Engineering Cumbernauld Airport Scotland.
George is a seaplane examiner/instructor.

Good Luck with it
