In which state are you going to fly?

If you work for an airline, give Alamo a ring before you go on 0870 600 0008. Ask for the Airline and Travel Trade tariff. They have excellent rates on all their vehicles (usually Chevrolet).

If you can do with a pick-up truck, then you can't beat this for value. Has a lockable cover over the bed, so your stuff is still protected.

Otherwise, for cheap and nasty Ugly Duckling or Rent-a-wreck.

Yes, the Budget Ranger pick-ups are good value. Not available everywhere though most Florida locations seem to have them.
One word of warning, check that the lock on the bed cover works properly before stashing stuff in there. I've had two which I couldn't open after locking - they are cheap quality. (OK so I'm a slow learner).
