Is anyone out there flying this sector to Aberdeen this Thursday morning coming, if so any chance getting in the jumpseat?

Hi Ennie,
Can't help you with the jumpseat I'm afraid, but I may well be the approach controller when the EZY141 arrives, so I'll certainly bear in mind another PPRuNer is on board.

I wouldn't get on that flight then if I were you, just look at the "On Bended Knee" thread in the ATC Issues forum and you'll see what a load of nutters the aberdeen controllers are.
Myself included of course :)

Hard luck Ennie - and there was me trying to give that one an extra special service thinking another PPRuNer might be on the jumpseat. Not that I don't give all my traffic a grand service mind you... :). You should have tried the "I phoned from the car and they said they'd hold the flight - get me Stelios!" line - might have got you on TV if nothing else!
