Some years ago, Pepsi Cola had something called Pepsi points. On the can or in the box, would be points that you could collect and get jackets, sunglasses, CD's and such.
If you did not drink enough Pepsi to accumulate the points, you could also buy them for ten cents a piece and get the stuff that way.
Well, in the commercial they ran on TV the ultimate price was a Harrier Jumpjet, it required 7 million points. They show a teenager taking the A/C to school and the he says: "It sure beats the bus".
Well, lo and behold, some young man actually managed to gather enough points to claim said jet. That was the last I heard of it, but here is the rest of the story, needless to say it went to court, after all, it was here in the US.
