I live in a small village in West Sussex and once a year we organise a family ‘fun day’ on the village green. It’s a great location – a pub at either end of the green, both serving good food and decent beer!

As part of the fun day we hold a ‘classic car and bike’ show and attract a great variety of interesting vehicles. Not just the Ferraris, Cobras etc (although there are plenty of them) but also every-day family transport across the years. It’s a great day out and a chance to see some very nice vehicles whilst supping a decent pint.

This year’s show is on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th May. If any PPRuNers have something they would like to show off (!) or just fancy a fun day out, please e mail me for details.

Thanks for the responses!

Any more for a fun day out? It doesn't have to be a mega-vehicle, just nice/interesting or whatever. Last year we had an 'unrestored' (!) Morris Traveller that looked like it had been used as a chicken coop - it got at least as much attention as the Ferraris :)

Hey BFU,

Sorry must of missed this first time around...
If i'm at home i'd love to pop along.
The old man's got a one of those Maranello built things but I don't think he'll drive it 250 miles from his home in Yorkshire....i'll mention the beer though...

Feel free to drop me details at [email protected]

Cheers
