Here's Tom Cruise's ex-bird
http://www.nicolekidman.org/images/InPrint/InPrint123.jpg
and here's his new bird

Now which one would you have chosen?
Honestly.

Honestly, I think I should like to choose both, thank you very much!

Being no longer in posession of a licence, the choice for me is obvious. Both though are high maintenance birds!

Swop the Mustang (there should be a death penalty for converting these birds to twin seats or putting PT6 on DC-3's) for a Spit and you may safely stuff Nicole.
PS.
Ain't she gay ?

Let's hope he flies it better than the Baron he used to have in the UK.....(recall hearing a funny story about him and a LTMA bust at Denham a few years ago....don't know how true etc)
Wonder who will keep the G4 (N555KC) as part of the divorce settlement?!?
Always thought Nicole was a cracker, ever since she first appeared on TV in the UK in "Bangkok Hilton".

Well its a tough call, but do you think that Nicole will look as good as new bird when she reaches fifty ?!

What a dilemma!
Do I want..
a) Nicole Kidman, a talented actress with a lovely sleek figure that could provide hours of entertainment.
or
b) P-51 Mustang, a vintage plane with a lovely sleek aerodynamic shape that could provide hours of entertainment.
Its going to take days for me to reach a decision.

What an absolutely beautiful bird.
I'm told the handling is something else as well.

Do you mean Nicole or the P-51 ?

I'm not sure which would be the most expensive to run :)
I think I know which one would be easier to start on a cold winter morning and I don't believe P51s have bad hair days.

Well I'd take 'em both to heaven and back.

14th February 2001, 22:41
I believe I could quite happily get into both twice a day and take them to heaven and back.(stolen from Blackadder)
But given a choice, the Mustang wins.

Gentlemen,
Bugger the Mustang give me the bird any day, the plane may be good.............

Perhaps i am a tad clinical so go for the woman and your financial standing hence cash flow would improve so you could have both. The real problem would be which do you lose first, most aviators would keep thier headsets!!

I'll go for Nicole since she got half of Tom's money. With that money, I can buy a fleet of P51.

Has been said by a very wise sage that: if it flies, or it floats or it f***s, it's generally cheaper to RENT.

Guy (money no object) owns Roller, becomes tired of its characteristics, gets Jag. Guy who buys Roller from him drives it for many years without finding fault. Meanwhile, Jag requires much attention and repairs. (With apologies to Confucius)

Isn't it about this time that a Wanabee comes on and says that this isn't aviation related and should be pulled and what's a woman anyway?
I'd have a FW-190D with Nicole on a cable reel so that while flying you could shag her and when she started yappin could reel her out again!

grab Nicole & take her around the back of the hangar for a session or two :-)
it sounds good to me.... :-)

You can take pics from the Mustang from every angle and even early in the morning and it always looks great.
And I've never heard of a Mustang having a headache....

Yeah and think of all that totty you could take for jollies in the backseat of the that truly wonderous machine - and how 'greatful' they'd likely be afterwards !
So no contest imho, ditch the bitch and keep the 'stang !
Ps. (hence the edit) does anybody know if Tom boy has to sit on a cushion or parachute so that he can see over the coaming ?! ;)

No contest the P51, with his money and a P51 he can pick and choose his women.

Now if it had been a Mosquito that would have been a tough call.
Maybe I’ve got my priorities wrong but it would have to be…..
Nicole. Want a FINE woman.
Man has yet to create something that has lines like hers!!!

Out of interest anyone know what a/c types Tom Boy is endorsed on and what ratings/licences he has?
Oh and BTW i'd take the P-51

sorry, but for a girl to be a better choice than a P51(or as I preffer a F-4 corsair)
She'll have to be really good.

The trouble with the P-51, is that whilst you're enjoying yourself in the front end, there's always that nagging feeling that someone else might be enjoying themsleves down the back end.
Not a problem you'll likely to have with Ms Kidman.

Liz Hurley...now your talkin! That does make it a tough decision.
Especially as I am young free and single again!
Of course, our Liz is gettin on a bit now you know. A bit like the Mustang.
Course, I suppose I needn't worry too much - chance would be a fine thing.

No matter how good the P51 would be, it will never get up and make you breakfast if you are running late on a cold winter morning.
You dont have to register a woman (but i have meet some that should have been).
Mind you starting a cold merlin and a cold woman requires the same handling notes.

16th March 2001, 20:24
Can a P51 iron your shirts??

gaunty-you need ironed shirts to go fly the P-51?!?!?!?!
