Aaaah! The Pink Pig! I had a go in her whilst I was flying BN2T's at Bad Lippsringe, West Germany, the home of the Joint Services Parachute Centre, back in 1987. Nice to see the new paint job!
Hope you enjoy your 'new love'!!
Mark.

One thing about the Shorts ...
It may be slow, but it sure is ugly!
I'll never forget the first time I passed over a Shorts in flight. I thought I was having a flashback to the movie Spaceballs!
Enjoy the winged Winnebago.

You'll get used to it but you're going to get the piss taken alot.
The photos don't show the bird-strike protection.... its on the back of the aeroplane.
They say flying the shed is like masturbation. Nobody admits to doing it but its actually quite fun!
Seriously though, I never got to fly the shed but not for lack of enthusiasm. And if you're going to be dropping skydivers, you're going to have a great time! I spent alot of time in the Black Beaver, light the blue touch paper and stand well back!

Didn`t this one have a dual engine flame-out over EHHO during a pink boogie back in `93 or so? Landed nicely between the cows.
If you`re just starting as sky-divers driver, take care. Be careful not to do this one, last stick before refuelling.
Good luck.

Well yea that was Pink - India AFAIK ..
Ran outta gas in FL 110 .. glide back home 10 miles and landed just 400m short of the runway (major bummer) had to be scrapped due to major damage to the keelbeam adn forward bulkheads (Nose wheel pushed in)..
But the thing is I get to fly it and i'm not intending to jump out of it ;)
But yea .. the Operator is REALLY REALLY into watching your fuel reserve.

...out of FL 110 glide 10 miles back home, it actually glides better than a stone ?
BTW, the pink skyvan that crashed after Takeoff in LOWZ a few years ago, what was the cause for the accident ?
Have fun !

This Airbus is o.k., but why did it come with a RENAULT key ??
