Hi there,
Yes a now-annual request, partly career and partly hobby orientated. Oh cut the nonsense - I luuuuurve flying and wanna understand you people better - especially since R2 opened
Would any extremely kind soul out there like to offer this poor, stressed and badly-in need-of-a-flight Manchester air-trafficker a lovely-jubbly jumpseat ride from either EGCC or EGGP within the next few weeks?
Any destination and departure time etc etc would be most most most welcome. I will of-course be more then happy to pay any costs involved too.
I am a very very well behaved flight deck member as the good, honourable and worthy Capt PPrune himself will testify - hopefully ;)
I will be pleased to offer tours of the ATC complex at Manch as a small in-part return - hehehe - what a cheeky sod I am - I can see you all running a mile from here :D
Seriously though - I can fill you in on all the latest exciting (arf arf!!!) gossip involving R2, new terminals and a Cluedo-style who dunnit involving a Manchester ATCO, a giraffe, eight pints of cider, Bournemouth, some cardboard and several small sponges in the lobby with the candlestick.
I can also find out just what p's you off about.......... ummmmm........ us! I'm sure you have plenty to discuss sicne we opened the new bit of tarmac.
