St Barth Commuter: info please

Hello!
i've been searching in the forums about this airline and didn't find anything. So here i go!

I wanted to ask about the requierements they are asking for and some general info about the airline:

-working conditions
-experience and age range of pilots getting hired (ab-initios? ex-airline pilots?)
-need of speaking french (guess so, right?)
-need of EU citizenship

I've read at their internet site that their pilots hold european CPL ME IR licences, 500 total time minimum, so are these the requirements for applying?. Is there any other relevant info for an aspiring St Barth Commuter pilot?

For all I knew few years ago (flying a turboprop in the area),speaking french is a must.
They have a lot of turnover in the crew ,it is quite an intense job doing the legs between Stbarth ans stmarteen.
Young pilots are recruited with min experience stated on internet and more.
I will say a salary around 2000 euros per month total ,they use to help you finding a flat affordable although expensive because in SBH everything is expensive.
Basically you fly as much as needed for the company during 5 days in a row then 2 days off.
Maintenance for islanders is decent,and for the experience it is very nice in your life being there for a while.
If you do not speak french look for companies in st marteen ,antigua and anguilla...all english speaking islands(sorrydon't know ttem left the caribean a while ago).

Hi,

They called me a year ago. I had already been hired by the airlines but from the CV I had sent them they expected me to have around 800hrs, mostly areal work. I am not sure but I think they were looking for 700 hours minimum, which is what you need to fly PIC under a JAR 23 pax transport activity if I am not mistaken. The guy was very friendly, it seems that they are all french. They are looking for people that can stay for at least a year or two as some airfield they operate on (especially st barth) require costly training.
