I'm really puzzled by that . . . . . .
How can a Class 1 medical be a 6 monthly one, yet not include an ECG ?
Perhaps I have misunderstood !
Straight Class 1 renewal here (no extras) is £121. Then add VAT it becomes £142.18

Class 1 medical for those over 40 is every six months but the ECG is annual; that's how!! Also, some people get the ECG carried out by a different doctor to the one who does the Class 1 renewal.
Mine last cost £125 (no VAT).

Yes, sorry ! If it's public transport, and single-pilot, then that's quite right !
Just shows I'm perhaps more used to F/W airline ops, which are all multi-crew !

That's when over age 50. BUT from 50-59 yrs the class 1 (and therefore also the ECG) is only every 12 months if you operate multi-crew. As I said before, probably much commoner in F/W airline crews.
