Bristow is an America company. How are they complying with foreign ownership rules? Most countries demand at least a 51% local country ownership or local citizen ownership of any air-taxi or air carrier. I believe Craig Dobbins claimed dual citizenship (Irish) for CHC in the UK.
Any idea on how they are complying with the rule?

PRESS RELEASE:
SOLA, NORWAY: Bristow Helicopters has entered into an agreement to acquire 51 percent of Sola, Norway-based Norsk Helikopter, bringing its ownership of the company to 100 percent. The shares will be purchased from the Ugland family as part of a transaction where the Ugland family will acquire 100 percent of Luftransport AS. Luftransport is a Norwegian helicopter and fixed-wing airline that was owned by Norsk Helikopter.
Norsk Helikopter will continue to operate as a Norwegian company following the change in ownership. Previously Bristow owned 49 percent of the shares in Norsk Helikopter, Knut Axel Ugland Holding AS owned 50 percent, and Andreas K. L. Ugland owned one percent.
Bristow Helicopters Managing Director Richard Burman said, "Bristow is delighted to have reached agreement with our Norwegian partners. This transaction will enable Bristow to focus on developing the oil and gas helicopter services that we provide through Norsk Helikopter using Bristow's global operational experience and financial strength. There are considerable opportunities in the Norwegian offshore market and Bristow can bring the full focus of its financial resources and depth of helicopter experience to ensure that Norsk Helikopter is properly placed to expand and develop."

I always thought Bristow was British origin?
The name is.
But Bristow was bought by Air Logistics who then chose to use Bristow as the company brandname.

If you look closely it is being bought by the BRITISH subsidiary of Bristow.
