Anyone know anything about Flight Crew Solutions Ltd of Guernsey, UK.. who could share their views on this company, Good or Bad?

Well according to their website it is a Guernsey box no. (not an office) and they have an 0208 (London) telephone number.
Sounds like a London based start-up that think they are offshore but, particularly with a London telephone number, they ain't because the Channel Islands are losing their offshore status!

EDIT: Naming names is against PPRuNe rules.
Take this as a warning against doing so again.

I make it a point never to deal with any company that uses the word 'solutions' in its name. If they're as unimaginative as every plumber, electrician and waste disposal contractor in the Yellow Pages I can't see them being much good.

The solution is easy to understand, Seņor Flintstone.

Your salary with them is $8,000/month.
The airline contracts them to supply you for $12,000/month.
Their "solution" is $4,000/month in their bank account.
And all that obviously "offshore" and "no benefits" for you.

I live in hel and haven't noticed anything in the newspapers about a start up.
May be blx are starting a base as they are the only people that regularly use 737ng's around here.
I wait in anticipation, but don't worry I retired long ago and was an airbus man.

The Helsinki contract is Primera- Jetex.
Seems that they were also looking for drivers in Dublin.
wrote to them a while ago-no news

Smells like shait, looks like shait so must be shait. Flightcrew Solutions had a contract with Latcharter come Smartlynx, a total disaster from what I heard. Promises made and agreements not held by either the contract agency or company. They lost 6 Captains and a few FO's in a few weeks time and apparently it was not smooth sailing at all. The Irish one does not unfortunately have a very good rep around the industry, undeserved some would say? I'd use extreme caution when dealing with the gent in question. Ask yourself a question: Would you buy a used car from this man?

I worked for Flight Crew Solutions for 4+ years and every month I got the exact amount of money which was agreed in my contract, paid into my bank account and if there was a problem ( extra overtime or day off payment etc ) , it was taking care of right away.

As a pilot you are in full control of stopping the wheels from turning if your paycheck is late. Only YOU can decide how many days or weeks to fly without money. :ooh:

You certainly are worth your name. Would you please ask us about our view of the said person. That is , those who had the displeasure of working for him and his show for many years, what we think of it him and his cohorts, before you post total utter stupidity such as you did on a public forum please.

Anyone have any recent experience of working for FCS? Were you paid on time?

My advice.
Stay away from this company and said "unmentionable name".
Worked under this contract and had trouble getting paid. Would never touch it again, even if it would be the last contract I'd would ever be offered.
And no, I will not elaborate on it.
I'm still baffled how "unmentionable name" is still working the field after so many burned bridges.

I worked for them for a while. It is very simple, if their customer pay them on time so will they, if not you will have to wait but a few times they advanced the money from their own account when their customer was too late in making payment. It was written in the contract that if the customer was not paying them they were not obliged to pay you, so from my point of view they honored their contract with me. I will work with then anytime again.

This is a very shady outfit, and I know I was involved with persons affiliated to them for about 10 years on and off. However if you do not have a job, then beggars cannot be choosers

Been with them for +/- 8 years and they have never missed a payment and have always paid to the penny....and if there was any discrepancy then it was adjusted accordingly....also worked for PARC...similar deal.....only difference, better medical coverage through the period of the contract.
