Flying a N reg Learjet on UK Fatpl

Greetings from Ireland.

Would I need to convert my UK CPL/ME/IR to FAA to fly a N reg (american reg) Learjet in Ireland????

Anyone know?

I think the general consensus would be "no", you cant fly it on a UK Licence. This subject however always open's a complete can of worms. Have a read on the Biz Jet forum where there are some interesting threads about this sort of stuff.
