How long before the present financial meltdown begins to hit the "private sector"? The rate at which bankers and other such "professionals" are being laid off must surely affect the numbers of potential customers!!

It's already happening.

Small fractionals are reporting a reduction in share sales but an increase in card sales. NJE lost as many owners as they sold new shares and charter operators pretty much everywhere are reporting a reduction in business.

Corporate is DEAD around here...high fuel prices combined with lack of business, people are parking the planes. The good news is that since no jets are being sold right now..the pilots that are sitting, have jobs, albiet not flying untill the market turns around.

Yes the big corporations are certainly taking a hit. A well known steel magnate is loosing at a rate £137 mil per day! Lost £16 Bil in the last 2 months. Hope all his eggs are not in one basket.

I am quiet glad I have always been poor!
