whats involved in getting a chinese ATPL. ie converting from another ATPL.

What is the process in general?

These questions have been asked many times on this forum already and some answers have been brought. Check this link out. If it doesn't work search this forum for chinese written test. Oh and by the way, don't look at the first page of that thread as it deals with CPL written. Check the second page, it speaks directly about the ATPL...

It appears that for conversion one must:

1. Pass the Chinese medical test
2. Pass the Chinese written test
3. Pass the CAAC checkride in simulator

Then one must apparently obtain another company medical, simulator check and finally the work permit.

As the saying goes in China, "Have patience my son".
