Hi Guys

I know there is lots of info on Arik already posted on here but I was just wondering if any current Arik Expat Pilots could shed any light on what life is like now at Arik. I know they're a rapidly expanding airline and things are changing fast so any update would be great. I'm considering applying and would be particularly interested in :

Pay and allowances

Living conditions, Housing, food etc

Security

Rostering and info on the rotation system they have in place

Many Thanks

B xx

22ND July wasn't so far back and the thread titled " Questions for any current ex-pat Arik Air pilots" started on 4th July by aterjon seems fairly concise, and fairly scary in equal measures.
Try re-reading that one, I did and well. .. . . . . . . what to say.
A little bit more info also on ppjn.com
Sounds like you would only do it as a VERY last resort.
Of course I don't know how desperate your situation is, but this position sounds like an education to say the least.

Met a departing Arik SFO last Tuesday in Lagos. He had "had enough" after one hitch - nice guy - Dutch!

Why would anyone want to work for 50% of a Wannabe Bristow Chopper Pilot Salary on even time compared to the crap Arik deal?

As an Arik Passenger - (occasionaly) - I wonder which Kindergarten is providing Crews.

Buck up boys and at least give an impression that you care!

Do they provide TR, or take only experienced on type pilots? They have new CRJ 900 right?
