What a joke

I have just read in this months Australian Aviation that its more like 1500 job cuts. I think 10,000-20,000 is a bit excessive. Esspecially since their total workforce is around 36,000.

Perhaps your source is on the sauce. 10,000 people represents close to 33% of the QF workforce, according to page 47 of the QF Fact File (http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/about/FactFiles.pdf).

Can't see how shedding 33% of the workforce will help with service delivery, on time performance, or even getting into the air. :uhoh:
