For two weeks ago I flew with Thomas cook Scandinavia (former mytravel airways) from Stockholm to Mallorca and back of course, on both flights the pilots where Danish, at least the captains. Is it like that on many of Thomas cooks flights from Stockholm, that cph based crew commute or make a layover in Stockholm so they can operate a flight from there? Or was it just temporary? And if Thomas cook only have a small pilot base at Arlanda and many of the Arlanda flights is flown by Danish flight crew, Why? Swedish pilots must be pretty much cheaper than Danish, because of the cost of living in Denmark.
I am grateful for answers.
