Standalone GPS systems in Kingair

Just a quick one for all you kingair drivers out there,


Are many of you using handheld GPS systems Garmin and the like for supplemental navigation info during flight.

I do not know anyone using a handheld GPS for navigation info in a King Air.

I know several drivers who use a Garmin 396 or 496 for XM weather info though.

I carry a Garmin 196 in my flight bag as an emergency backup.
