How long has it been since SAS Sweden recruited cabin crew?

I've read 2001. I think it was on the sas flight academy website.

That goes for pilots to I guess, but the fired a lot both in the cabin and cockpit so I think i reality 1999...

1999 to 2000 should be accurate.

A close girlfriend of mine works as AH (Air Hostess as they are known as) out of their ARN base. She started in 1997 and is also one of the youngest crew at the base, being only 31 years old!

I heard that SAS has sacked 52 Captains (60+). And now everthing is going crazy in the SAS pilot association.
The reason they got sacked is because when they signed the contract for many years ago they where only aloud to fly to 60, but the regulations today alou you to fly to 65.
And this age limit in the contract was used against them to send them home. And now everything is going crazy :(
