On another note, can anyone recommend a loss of income insurance?
I have a great loss of license, but they do not cover temporary loss of license and they cannot provide me with a loss of income insurance...

please spend time to read 20+ page contract of any insurance company.
you will see that they are only going to take money from you.
you will get stuck between the lines on this 20 pages.....no returns .
you run them from your money............
i donot think they can run you with insurance claim........
matter of calculation........
who does best... ...........
you or the insurance company.

Cirencester Friendly. Income protection. £120 per month (45 year old non smoker) pays about £650 per week should you be unable to work.

BALPA have a good LoL scheme. It costs around £40 a month for c£80,000 cover, with temporary benefits after 3 months. The temporary benefit is £1600 a month, tax free. Very straightforward and very straightforward claims procedure.
