Hi,
I read rumors that as of 01 July 2008 there will be an additional tax on 100 LL in Sweden, some sort of an environment tax. That tax will raise the price from 1.5 EUR/litre to 2.5 EUR/litre :uhoh:. Anybody who can confirm this to be true? I am planning to fly around the South of Sweden for a couple of days beginning of July.

Hello
Some days ago, I talked to a fuel guy, asking him for reason for soaring 100LL prices. He told me, there are now only 1-2 fuel refineries in europe that makes 100LL now a days. So will other shutting or decides to stop making this 100LL the prices will sky-rocket. In a norwegian airport on the west coast, they are operating with prices 2.08 € per liter.
I say GA aviation is heading towards just the highly interested and highly paid people can afford to fly, unless there is a more fuel friendly engine one it's way... Talking GA aircraft not those scary ultralights with ROTAX engines...
Well, good luck on your journey to Scandinavia! remeber scenery in south can not compare to the north, remains about same for norway and sweden :)
Fly safe :ok:

This may be too late for you, but about 2 EUR/lt should be about right.
2€ per liter!!!:ooh:
Flippin' 'ell!!!
Remembering the days I could water my 182 with 100LL, at a price of 6 SKr per liter! :ok:
....I'm glad I don't have to water it no more!!:hmm:
