Far East forum appears to be cruising along smoothly without being deluged by the tirade of anti-SIA postings from Glad and titan.

Does anyone know why they have suddenly disappeared from their high profile existence here?

You are bored Kaptin M.

I will speak for myself.

Just finished my annual leave of 35 days. Started with 3 days of B737-700 transition training. We at ASA are looking forward to the delivery of the first B737-900 in late May.

Otherwise, enjoying my life, wife, children, and days off. Summer is coming soon and my children are looking forward to water skiing, camping, etc.

May 2nd will mark 3.5 years at my new employment, the significance is, going from 'B' scale to 'A' scale, that means a 25% pay raise for me (yeh baby). A further pay raise is expected (20% more I hope) once the -900 pay negotiations end.

Well since you asked Kaptin M, I can not find anything to complain about. At work things just get better with time (seniority number is KING). I am looking forward to Captain upgrade in early to mid 2002 (more dosh).

Gotta go now and change oil in my Ferrari, see ya Kaptin.

Titan I think is preparing to put Lenny on the stand in court. I will be a spectator if not a witness in the OZ court.

GLADIATOR - you once told me you had a pal who would sign an affidavit, involving me, regarding three crew operations, remember?
I remember when your integrity was questioned that you demanded flight and tail numbers, (Hong Kong?), well be so kind as to furnish me with your irrefutable evidence please.

No, not bored, Titan, just curious to drop in on FEF and not seeit [i]deluged with anti-SIA crap from Storyman, sia sniffer, titan,, etc. It seems they all need someone to stir the pot for them.

I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed your vacation time with your family members, and that your miserable salary is getting a boot along. It's not easy having to halve the monthly pay cheque to help support the "ex", especially when there isn't much to start with.

You're right about seniority, which for some reason is one of the first things [that] employers try to get rid of, when they have a stoush with their pilots ...strange that one! Check with titan the recent events at Impulse/QANTAS, and the predictions there. In today's aviation world, tomorrow isn't guaranteed!

Anyway, addinfurnightem is looking for a response from you, so I'm sure you'll honor your word to him, on that one.

Well Kaptin M thank you. Regarding the salary, before raise to 'A' scale, I was already making more than a 10 year SIA F/O.

'A' scale will put me at US$100,000 per year (without overtime). I think that is about the same salary as SIA B-777 Captain.

I have no idea what addinfur is asking for. Please clarify in detail in non cryptic language.

Look, I'm busy, Okay?!
I don't know how much longer Maurice, Lenny and RJ have on the SIA payroll so I'm working hard to get the case together and them onto the stand. I bet that they (especially RJ) will come to regret that line at the bottom of the contract that refers to Singapore Law.
Hope you've got sycophant friends in the CAAS RJ and you better read up on how civil litigation leads to criminal conviction.
Now, back to work.......

Titan,

Now I know why Maurice's face is so long! (In Standard English: Now I know why Maurice pulls a long face!)

Why don't you boys take it outside, it is after all a nice day. After a nosebleed and a few broken bones, you will both be right as rain.
